How does Bio-Pruf™ protection work?

Bio-Pruf™ technology, through the antimicrobial additive that is added to the PVC film during the production process, turns the ceiling or wall into a real “protective shield” against harmful microorganisms, effectively limiting the possibility of survival and reproduction of these harmful microorganisms on the membrane surface.

Where are Biopruf membranes used? Biopruf ceilings and walls are used in hospitals, medical facilities, dental surgeries, laboratories, kindergartens, schools, restaurants and private homes.

Bacteria: Invisible to the naked eye, they are the simplest life forms, consisting of a single cell. Although not easily seen, bacteria are responsible for spreading disease.

Fungi: Fungi are usually detected because of the black stains they produce and the musty smell in damp environments. The small particles of mycelium released into the air can cause respiratory complications or gradually degrade health.

Algae: Although most species of algae live in the sea, lakes or ponds, some single-celled green algae can live in wet conditions on land, such as on wet masonry or inside lichens, and are a nutrient for mould.
